Telemark / Kelowna Nordic January 21–23, 2022

Ski the Kelowna Nordic club trails up near McCulloch Lake on Saturday, and then Telemark ski area near Kelowna on Sunday. On this popular trip, we will stay at the Econolodge Kelowna (prev. known as Kelowna Motor Inn), conveniently located a few blocks from the downtown area. Continental breakfast included. This trip leaves Vancouver Friday evening.

On Friday evening we drive to Kelowna settling into the hotel. On Saturday, we will ski Kelowna Nordic (McCulloch); Rustic facilities, friendly club members and 75 km of beautiful wooded ski trails (coupled with state-of-the-art grooming and track-setting) define the Kelowna Nordic Ski Club. Perfect for snowshoe enthusiasts, Kelowna Nordic offers 75 km of snowshoe trails, many with panoramic views. Two day-cabins make excellent stops en route where Skiers can eat lunch, warm-up, and mingle with the locals. This site has no food or water. Please bring all that you need.

On Sunday we head to Telemark Nordic, which has 50 km of delightful groomed trails suitable for classic and skating, and 62 km of snowshoe trails. The lodge at Telemarks sells snacks and light refreshments.

NOTE: Vancouver Skiers bus trips, and participation at all in-person club events, require that you be fully vaccinated with a vaccine approved in Canada and have completed the 2-week waiting period for full immunity to develop.
