Back at last! - This fabulous six-day trip winds its way through the Kootenays with stays in Nelson and Rossland. Our first travel day, Tuesday, January 30, begins at 7:10 am for a ski in Manning Park followed by an overnight stay in Osoyoos. Be prepared to celebrate the trip kickoff with a potluck at the hotel. 

Next day we’re off to Castlegar Nordic near Paulson summit. With 50 km of trails of varied length and difficulty and four rustic cabins this area always offers a new experience. Most trails are groomed for classic with some skate groomed opportunities. After a day’s adventure we’re on to Nelson for a two-night stay. Day three we ski Nelson Nordic with an après ski opportunity to visit Ainsworth Hot Springs or enjoy exploring Nelson.

The next day we begin the return journey west to Blackjack Nordic and a two-night stay in beautiful Rossland. Enjoy another day skiing Blackjack’s fifty kilometres of expertly groomed trails.  Our final day, Sunday February 4 we make a return visit to Castlegar Nordic then head home with our memories of the Kootenays experience!
