This trip takes us first to Revelstoke for a night then Canmore for the following three nights returning to Revelstoke for a night on the way back.
Leaving Tuesday morning, we will ski Stake Lake before carrying on to Revelstoke for the night. For those wishing to spend the evening in downtown Revelstoke, the bus will drop them off, and they can walk the short distance back to the hotel later. On Wednesday morning, we ski Dawn Mountain (https://goldennordicclub.ca/dawnmountain) on the way to Canmore where we stay at the Best Western Pocaterra, our base for the next three nights.
Thursday morning, we ski the Nordic trails at Peter Lougheed Provincial Park (https://www.albertaparks.ca/media/3786979/2016_peterlougheedpp_brochure.pdf). We return to the hotel to change and those who want can go to the Banff hot springs and then Banff or directly there for the evening. The bus provides a shuttle service and takes everyone back to Canmore at the end of the evening.
Friday morning, we ski Mount Shark (https://www.10adventures.com/xc-skiing/kananaskis/mt-shark-xc-ski/). That evening the bus drops off those who want to visit downtown Canmore and it’s an easy walk back to the hotel later.
Saturday morning, we check out and ski at the Canmore Nordic Centre. (https://www.albertaparks.ca/parks/kananaskis/canmore-nordic-centre-pp/activities/cross-country-skiing/). From the Nordic Centre we return to Revelstoke for the last night of the trip staying once more at the Sandman. The bus will drop off those who want to spend that evening in downtown Revelstoke and to walk back later to the hotel.
Sunday morning, we leave to ski at Mount Macpherson Nordic (https://www.revelstokenordic.org/trail-info-maps/), our last stop of the trip. We then drive back to Vancouver with a rest stop in Kamloops.
