This is one of our most popular trips and as we return to the Sun Peaks resort we will be all staying at Cahilty Lodge. The rooms have 2 queen beds for 2 people and are equipped with a fridge, microwave and coffeemaker.

On Friday, on route to Kamloops, we will ski Stake Lake Nordic Center where 60 kilometres of trails are groomed for classic and skate skiing. If you bring snowshoes, there are 13 kilometres of picturesque trails to explore. A heated cabin provides a welcome break for lunch. There are also many shelters along the main trails for a rest and a snack break.

Saturday and Sunday you can enjoy excellent cross-country trails, downhill ski slopes, as well as a multitude of shops and restaurant. Sun Peaks offers over 34 km of groomed trails for classic and skate skiing. Nordic tickets include a ride up the mountain on the Morrisey Express Chairlift, from where you then glide down “Holy Cow” and ski to the McGillivray Lakes Outpost warming hut. If you’re a downhill skier, there are 4270 hectares of terrain which extends across three mountains to explore (the second largest downhill skiing site in Canada).

Our destination in the spectacular Callaghan Valley is Whistler Olympic Park which offers 55 kms of groomed ski trails and 15 kilometers of snowshoeing. Next door is “the Callaghan” with another 40 kilometers of trails. Please be aware that ticketing is now separate for the two trail systems. The beautiful day lodge at WOP offers snacks and hot and cold drinks as well as lessons and rental equipment. Trip leaves Friday morning, skiing at Stake Lake on Friday, and Larch Hills on Saturday and Sunday. Enjoy the fabulous trail system of Larch Hills and relax in the new enlarged lodge.

Skiers stay at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Salmon Arm which provides hot and cold breakfast and has a hot tub and indoor pool!

After skiing on Saturday, we will head back down to our hotel in Salmon Arm and dinner at your choice of restaurant. There are several places to eat close to the hotel and downtown is a short walk away.

Telemark – SilverStar - Sovereign Lake– Kelowna Nordic

On this popular three-day trip over the Family Day weekend, we leave Saturday morning and ski Telemark Nordic before carrying on to Vernon where we’ll stay for 2 nights. Sunday, we head up to SilverStar/Sovereign Lake for a full day of skiing. Monday, we make our way to Kelowna Nordic, from where we’ll leave early afternoon to return to Vancouver, with a brief stop in Merritt to grab a snack or drink.

In Vernon we’ll be staying at the Prestige Vernon Lodge, central to all three ski areas, with an onsite restaurant and within easy walking distance of other restaurants and services.

Enjoy two nights at one of the chalets at Manning Park Resort. Activities include cross-country, backcountry, and downhill skiing as well as snowshoeing and the fabulous Skiers potluck dinner, the highlight of Saturday night!

We stay at a chalet in the hub of Manning Park. The chalet accommodates 10 people with a variety of sleeping arrangements and contains a full kitchen and living room. The chalet is near the Manning Park Lodge which has an on-site pub, restaurant, swimming pool, and hot tub. Skiers must arrange their own transport, but usually, carpools can be arranged. The accommodation is limited so sign up early!

On average, Manning Park receives 546 centimeters of annual snowfall. When snow conditions are poor in other regions, Manning Park with its higher elevations offers skiable snow. At the end of a great day of skiing or snowshoeing, relax by the stone fireplace at the Manning Park Lodge, or check out the cozy Bears Den Pub.

*Please note that due to hotel scheduling availability, the Manning Park Chalet trip and the Apex Nickel Plate trip are being run the same weekend. We apologize to anyone that were planning to do both trips in 2027.
